Ultem® (now Duratron® U1000 PEI) is an amorphous thermoplastic polyetherimide. Stock shapes from Ultem resin possess a combination of useful characteristics, including high strength at elevated temperatures (340°F continuous), high modulus, and broad chemical resistance.
